I do so much more than just build websites.
A website on its own is just a starting point. To actually pull its weight, it needs to be findable on Google, you need to know who’s visiting and why, and someone needs to keep it healthy when WordPress and its plugins update every week.
All three of these are jobs in their own right. Below are three services I can add to any build, each drawn from over thirty years of running, breaking, and fixing websites since long before WordPress existed.
Search Engine Optimisation
Building a beautiful website is only half the job. If nobody finds it, it doesn’t earn its keep. That’s where SEO comes in.
Search Engine Optimisation is the work that makes your site rank on Google for the words your customers actually type when they’re looking for what you offer. I’ll research the right keywords for your business, weave them naturally into your page titles, headings, descriptions and content, and make sure the technical foundations like page speed, mobile readiness, and structured data are in place, which Google uses to rank your page and decide how high up your site comes when someone searches for you.
I’ll also generate your XML sitemap and submit it to Google Search Console so the search engine knows your site exists and starts crawling it. Without that step, Google eventually finds you, but only when an existing indexed site links to you.
Done well, SEO turns your site from a digital business card into a steady source of new enquiries. Done badly, or not at all, even the prettiest website sits on page seven of Google where nobody will ever see it.

Google Site Kit setup
Once your site is live, you want to know how it’s performing. Site Kit is Google’s free dashboard that pulls together data from four Google services (Search Console, Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, and AdSense) into one place inside your WordPress admin area. Once it’s set up properly, it tells you who’s visiting your site, where they came from, what they searched for, which pages they’re reading, and how fast everything is loading. It’s the single most useful tool for understanding what’s working and what isn’t.
One thing worth knowing: Site Kit data lives inside your WordPress admin area. If you take my monthly maintenance plan I’ll be the one to read the Site Kit data for you and turn it into a proper monthly report, that’s one more benefit of having me do your maintenance. If you’d rather run the site yourself, I’ll set Site Kit up so it’s ready for you to log in and use directly.

Monthly maintenance
Websites are not finish-and-forget. WordPress updates almost every week. Plugins update independently. Hosting providers change things. Hackers probe for weak spots. Without ongoing attention, even a perfectly-built site quietly drifts toward broken.
My monthly maintenance plan handles all of that for you. I keep WordPress and every plugin up to date, run weekly backups, monitor security, fix anything that breaks, and quietly include up to fifteen minutes of small content edits each month at no extra charge. You get a short report at the end of every month showing what was done.
It’s $79 a month, cancel any time, and it’s the cheapest insurance you’ll ever buy for the website you’ve just paid for.
