Search Engine Optimisation

Optimising the site for search engine indexing, adding metatags, editing layout, headings and text, and adding images with descriptors. Please see What is SEO and Why Does It Matter? to understand the full scope of this major additional service. From £500.

Google Site Kit

This is one step beyond SEO, it connects you to Google’s Search Console and Analytics, and displays results of real world searches and helps you improve your results. £500.

Maintenance & Recovery

When your site had been completed and you have accepted it, any number of issues may arise in the months after. Maintenance is like insurance, you’ll wish you had it when something goes wrong, for example:

• Site goes down
• Site is hit by a virus
• Plugin update crashes something
• Email/forms stop working

Responding to issues such as the above. Please note: Restoring a damaged website following an outage will be done with ‘best endeavours’, recognising that it may not be possible to recover from some problems such as virus attacks. The best version of the website that can be reinstated will be restored instead.

If a plugin no longer functions the way it was intended when installed, or there is any other reason why it cannot be used any longer, it will be deleted. Finding and configuring an alternative plugin is outside the scope of normal maintenance and will be charged extra.

Essential support: £100 per month.

Enhanced support: ongoing SEO support, monitoring and reporting on Google Site Kit: £250 per month.

Terms and Conditions

For projects costed at £500 or below, the full fee is required before work commences. If the project is costed above £500, half the fee is required before work commences. If the project is costed above £3000, staged payments may be agreed.

Final control of the website will be transferred to the Client when all fees have been paid.
